Transportation
Saturday, October 24th - Ceremony, Reception, & After Party
Buses will depart promptly at 4:00pm from both the Francis Marion and the Marriott to transport guests to Lowndes Grove.
Following the reception, buses will return guests to both hotels, with a stop at The American Theater for those who would like to keep the celebration going at our after party.
Although The American Theater is just a short 5 minute walk from both hotels. For guests who prefer not to walk, a shuttle will make continuous trips between the after party and the hotels throughout the rest of the evening.
Traveling with Children
Although our wedding celebration will be adults only, we know some guests may be traveling with their children. For those who need childcare during the wedding, babysitting services can be arranged through Simply Southern Sitters. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Hotel Blocks
We have reserved room blocks at the hotels listed below, which are both walking distance to our welcome party and after party. Transportation will be provided from both locations to the ceremony/reception. If you prefer to Uber/Lyft, it is only about a 10-minute ride. Of course, please feel free to stay wherever works best for you - there are plenty of great hotels and Airbnbs in the area.
Please keep in mind, Charleston is a popular tourist destination. We recommend booking hotels and Airbnbs ASAP.
